Batches are collections of images from your indexes that are ready for annotation. They serve as the starting point for creating annotation jobs and organizing your workflow efficiently.
Batches serve as containers for your annotation jobs. A single batch can be split into multiple jobs, allowing you to:
Distribute work among different annotators
Set different priorities for different image sets
Track progress at both the batch and job level
Create smaller batches for more granular control over your annotation workflow, or larger batches when dealing with similar images that should be annotated together.
Once you’ve created a batch, the next step is to create annotation jobs from it. Jobs are where the actual annotation work happens, and they can be assigned to specific team members for completion.
